type-a-poet is a one-on-one performance art experience like no other - a magical, meditative unfolding that heals the heart, bends the mind and explodes time.

Sitting in mystical silence, you become transported to another realm, as multi-award-winning artist Andi Snelling channels a unique poem dedicated to your soul on her typewriter - an inked gift for you to keep.

Set in an adaptable pop-up Temple of Poetry, type-a-poet is part side show, part spiritual reading, and is a live co-creation between audience & artist, one visitor at a time.

The work marries Andi’s word wizardry with her talent for improvisation and intimate space-holding, in an ever-continuing pursuit of shared humanity through art.

type-a-poet is available for events, festivals, markets, weddings, parties, etc and can incorporate disability access & inclusion in innovative ways. Appropriate for ages 10+, it can be done as a pop-up experience almost anywhere indoors or outdoors or as a full-scale immersive art installation experience in a small room or nook.

Access options: D/deaf-friendly, audio described (pre-recorded), braille elements and wheelchair-accessible (venue pending). There can be a Tactile/Sensory board near the experience with objects and information. Access Pack can also be made available.
